A piece of the puzzle
What’s inside?
flee-mo™ touchless & wireless button exploded view: (from left) protective end-cap, CR2430 coin battery, positive contact spring (actual product may not removable) and UI “black button”.
Prior arrangement inside the UI “black button“: [1] u-blox ANNA-B112 (u-connect) BLE module with nRF52832 SiP. [2] Side emitting LEDs (blue & super red). [3] Infrared emitter and its windows (top reflector). [4] Factory-adjustable detection range trimmer resistor (will be replaced by GPIO pull-down resistor). [5] SWD Interface test points (bottom layer). [6] Optical proximity detector and its windows (top reflector). [7] On-board NFC antenna coil (optional). [8] Complementary dual transistor.
Hand in hand with the wireless button is a BLE switch, which contained another BLE module (configured as “slave“) and solid state switch (interchangeable TRIAC or SCR thyristor) withstanding more amperage than the previous version. Built upon pre-certified small footfrint power supply module with releasable wire connectors allows for compact, convenience in installation and rework.
Simple structure inside BLE switch “black cube” (protective cover removed), with overall dimensions 25.6mm (W) x 25.6mm (D) x 22mm (H). Due to safety concerns, the switch ain’t for open source.
