flee-mo™ touchless & wireless button [roll your cursor over (desktop) or tap your fingertip on (mobile), then out for switching from Idle to Active stage and vice versa]

flee-mo™ wireless

An open-source initiative for hygienic and aesthetic applications. Inherited from wired version, the button still is touchless sense and edgeless glow. Additionally enhanced features like battery powered and Bluetooth® Low Energy deployed, to make it totally stand-alone.

What’s inside?

Fully enclosed structure preventing dust and even water ingress (awaiting for IP rated), and keep in mind ease of replacing the battery. With adhesive-back, the button able to be placed on almost surfaces.

The wireless button layout basically as same as wired version and centered with u-blox ANNA-B112 Bluetooth® Low Energy System in Package (SiP). The "master" module is delivered with u‑connectXpress software for accelerated time to market.

Prior arrangement inside the UI “black button“: [1] u-blox ANNA-B112 (u-connect) BLE module with nRF52832 SiP. [2] Side emitting LEDs (blue & super red). [3] Infrared emitter and its windows (top reflector). [4] Factory-adjustable detection range trimmer resistor (will be replaced by GPIO pull-down resistor). [5] SWD Interface test points (bottom layer). [6] Optical proximity detector and its windows (top reflector). [7] On-board NFC antenna coil (optional). [8] Complementary dual transistor.

Hand in hand with the wireless button is a BLE switch, which contained another BLE module (configured as “slave“) and solid state switch (interchangeable TRIAC or SCR thyristor) withstanding more amperage than the previous version. Built upon pre-certified small footfrint power supply module with releasable wire connectors allows for compact, convenience in installation and rework.

Simple structure inside BLE switch “black cube” (protective cover removed), with overall dimensions 25.6mm (W) x 25.6mm (D) x 22mm (H). Due to safety concerns, the switch ain’t for open source.

Applications

Sanitation

There's no need to touch tap faucets or flushers in the restroom. The button can be configured both hand-free or hand-waving functions.
